ANNUAL REPORT 2019 – 2020

It takes immense pleasure to present you the annual report of Annai Chellammal CBSE school . The year 2019-2020 passed with great achievements for the school.

The school made various innovations in academics by integrating science activities with classroom learning and usage of math lab for explaining concepts better. Peer assessment, Periodic quizzes and various competitions like speech competition, essay competition ,etc helped students in developing confidence and also contributed towards work education. Special attention was paid towards physical education. Annual sports day was conducted to measure the level of preparation among the students and to give them more experience.

Celebrations in the school included Independence day celebration, teachers day celebration, Republic day celebration, Gandhi Jayanthi celebration, Onam celebration, Fancy dress competition on Children’s day celebration and Pongal celebration. These celebrations  gave ample confidence to students apart from excitement.

Parent teacher meetings were held on the day of the results of every examination to discuss about the improvements made by the children. Parents interacted with the principal and gave feedback and suggestions and also appreciated the school on its achievements.

International Olympiads were conducted along with Humming bird Education ltd and children won gold medals at the first levels and teachers also participated in the Olympiads . National Astronomy and Science Olympiad was also conducted to enhance the knowledge of children in the field of science.

Social awareness was brought about by the students by taking up rallies on dengue prevention methods ; about the awareness of worm infestation in children and its effects and the importance of de-worming.

For the safety of students and staff, a sexual harassment committee was constituted. Renovation of the composite science lab  and computer lab elaboration has taken place.
